Complimentary decoder lenses
Free US decoder requests are open, while supplies last. The red evidence lens and its US mailing are complimentary, limited to one per household. No purchase, payment card, account, or newsletter enrollment is required. Machinedog Holdings, LLC reviews requests and packs and mails approved lenses directly. A request may be declined for duplication, an incomplete or ineligible mailing address, or unavailable stock. Submission confirms a request; it does not confirm shipment. We do not promise a specific arrival date.
Your request information
We collect the name, email, and US mailing address entered on the request form to review and fulfill your request, resolve mailing questions, and prevent duplicate household requests. We store the delivery information and a one-way keyed household identifier in our database. We also use a temporary keyed network identifier to limit abusive submissions. Authorized fulfillment staff can access the mailing queue; the delivery address is used with the postal service to mail your lens. We do not sell mailing addresses or enroll requesters in marketing.
Contact tom@machinedog.com for request status, address corrections, cancellation before mailing, or questions about your information. We may retain the household identifier to enforce the one-per-household offer.
Free case clues
No account or payment is needed to read the online clues. The final clues also appear as printed transcripts in the book. The physical decoder is optional and is requested separately from the book.
Optional accounts and membership
Optional reader accounts use Clerk to manage sign-in and the account information you provide. A free account does not start a paid subscription. Daily Case Files is a separate, optional $9/month membership planned for new original mysteries; charging is not enabled while setup and content preparation continue. Book orders
Book checkout is not open. US retail prices are $49.95 for the paperback and $99.95 for the hardcover, with book shipping separate. Book shipping charges, dispatch times, and return/refund terms will be published before sales begin. The approved merchant is Machinedog Holdings, LLC; when ordering opens, payment will use Stripe-hosted Checkout and we will retain the order and shipping information needed to fulfill purchases.
